Dr Rafique Masudi to Receive JP International Award 2025 in Literature

The Lok Nayak Jayaprakash International Studies and Development Centre (LNJPISDC) has announced the JP International Awards 2025, to be held on 21 December at Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti, Rajghat, New Delhi. The national-level ceremony will bring together eminent personalities to honour outstanding contributions to nation-building and public service.

Under the Literature Sector, Dr Rafique Masudi, eminent public servant and former Additional Director General, Doordarshan, has been unanimously selected for the award. He has been honoured for his significant contributions to literature, communication, cultural heritage and public discourse.

Inspired by the ideals of Lok Nayak Jayaprakash Narayan and Mahatma Gandhi, the awards celebrate commitment to democratic values, social justice and human development. Hosting the ceremony at Gandhi Smriti highlights LNJPISDC’s dedication to the enduring principles of truth, service and non-violence.
